Job summary

DHL Express in Memphis, TN is seeking a Lead Agent to provide customer service, sales and operational support at the Service Center, including handling inquiries, tracking shipments, and processing documentation. You will lead a team, coordinate workload, train staff, and ensure compliance with DHL safety and service standards while supporting continuous improvements.

The role requires high school diploma and prior customer service experience, with strong communication; bilingual Spanish a plus;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service or support experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Must pass FAA, TSA and CBP background checks for SIDA badge.
• Spanish bilingualism a plus.
• DG certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service, sales and operational support for the Service Center, including resolving billing inquiries and shipment issues.
• Answer phones, greet visitors, and serve as a primary contact for customer inquiries.
• Collaborate with Sales, Service and supervisors to resolve issues and ensure compliance with DHL standards.
• Support operational activities: sorting, loading/unloading, documentation, manifesting, and dispatching information.
• Process import/export documentation and assist with customs clearance where applicable.
• Monitor performance, data quality and deadlines; escalate issues as needed.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, training coordination and staffing support.
• Act as supervisor when needed and partner with management for continuity and performance.
