Field Services Engineer - Automation, Packaging, Manufacturing - Direct Hire

RemX is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service high-precision automation equipment used in the packaging industry. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated professional with strong mechanical and electrical skills, and extensive experience traveling both nationally and internationally for work. They possess strong problem-solving abilities and can handle complex situations while maintaining high standards of customer service and system reliability.

Note: This position requires 60-80% travel nationally and sometimes internationally.

Compensation

• Base pay range: $35.00/hr - $42.00/hr DOE
• Annual Bonus
• Full benefits, OT, bonus pay, 401(k) match up to 4%, PTO, paid travel, per diem, company card, full training provided

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, preventive maintenance, and repairs on high-precision automation packaging machinery
• Offer on-site troubleshooting and technical support for equipment
• Strong ability to interact and communicate effectively with diverse customers and colleagues

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a Field Service Engineer or Field Service Technician
• Work with Advanced Machinery used in Industrial Automation and Manufacturing facilities
• A background with electrical, mechanical, schematics, and PLC experience
