Job summary

SCREEN SPE USA, LLC, a subsidiary of Screen Holdings, seeks a Field Services Engineer to install, commission, maintain and repair semiconductor process equipment at customer facilities across the U.S. You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, document service activities, and prepare reports for internal teams and customers.

The role requires reading schematics, following safety procedures, willingness to travel to various sites, and occasional extended hours.

Qualifications

Role Description

The Field Services Engineer is a full-time, on-site role. We have multiple positions across the U.S.This position is responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining, and repairing semiconductor process equipment at customer facilities. Daily tasks include performing troubleshooting and diagnostics, conducting preventive maintenance, and providing technical support to ensure maximum equipment uptime and performance. The role involves documenting service activities, preparing reports, and communicating effectively with customers and internal teams. The Field Services Engineer will regularly interact with customer operations and engineering personnel, support equipment upgrades and modifications, and may travel to other customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong Field Service experience with complex industrial or semiconductor equipment.
• Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support for mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
• Hands-on Preventive Maintenance skills, including inspections, calibration, and component replacement.
• Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and build professional relationships.
• Relevant technical education (e.g., associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, electronics, or a related field) or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals.
• Comfort working in cleanroom or manufacturing environments and following strict safety and EHS procedures.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple service assignments.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and work occasional extended or irregular hours as required.
