Job summary

associacareers seeks a Director of Field Services to lead maintenance and construction departments for large-scale projects. You will oversee client relationships, boards, homeowners, and vendors with high independence and minimal supervision.

You will drive business development, set project budgets, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while expanding the department with processes, templates, and a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 5–7 years of related or closely related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Project Services to managers and clients at profitable margins.
• Act as relationship manager to extend client engagement and add value.
• Be the first provider on large-scale projects; enter contracts early.
• Advise Boards of Directors on planning, vendor selection and execution.
• Build department structure, tools, templates, and team for long term growth.
• Ensure projects meet client expectations with deadlines, billing, and communication.
• Manage and develop project staff and program oversight.
• Coordinate all parties (Boards, homeowners, vendors, managers) effectively.
• Conduct on-site inspections, status updates, and client meetings.
• Provide financial control, project reporting, and funding facilitation.
• Identify at-risk clients and support retention with value-added services.
