Job summary

Great Southwestern Construction, Inc. in the field is seeking a Field Services Coordinator I to support the Project Manager and Superintendent on diverse construction sites.

This role requires travel to project locations and relocation as needed, with field-office coordination and QA/QC oversight. You will review plans, assist with estimates and scheduling, promote safety, manage field communications, and help maintain records.

Qualifications

• 6 to 18 months of related experience in field construction management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and specifications to develop and implement the quality plan.
• Assist with cost estimates and project scheduling as needed.
• Promote safety in construction operations and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Inspect equipment, material, workmanship and finished construction.
• Coordinate material/inventory monitoring and equipment tracking.
• Assist crews with material, tooling and equipment needs.
• Assist project manager with client submittals and RFIs.
• Communicate between office staff and field employees.
