Job summary

Crawford Thomas Recruiting is seeking a highly organized Field Services Coordinator to support urgent field operations, construction issue resolution, and project coordination across Florida. The role fits someone with field coordination, inspections, or project management experience in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires coordinating with builders, inspectors, PMs, and owners, managing RFIs, and ensuring timely updates and resolutions while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, engineering, architecture, inspections, or project coordination preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Calm and professional under pressure.
• Attention to detail and follow-through.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Knowledge of Florida building codes preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for urgent field requests and support needs.
• Coordinate with builders, inspectors, project managers, municipalities, and property owners.
• Manage RFIs and active field issues while maintaining timely communication.
• Provide clients with regular updates and resolution tracking.
• Coordinate RFIs related to code compliance, structural concerns, construction standards, and field conditions.
• Work with internal engineering and architectural teams to develop timely solutions.
• Track open requests and ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
• Coordinate repair specifications and schedule site visits, inspections, testing services.
• Assist with structural permit challenges and inspector comments.
• Coordinate missed inspection evaluations and non-destructive testing.
• Support warranty investigations and damaged building assessments.
• Help facilitate rapid-response solutions that minimize project delays and keep construction moving.
