Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an Account Manager for Upstream Chemicals to manage field service activities, support sales, and improve productivity in our drilling-related products. You will work with field personnel and customers to ensure timely problem solving and compliance with standards.

You will monitor metrics like field utilization and spend while contributing to the strategic plan of the well construction segment.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years’ experience in Upstream Chemicals and Oil & Gas.
High school diploma required.
Mechanically inclined mindset.
Demonstrate the ability to communicate, present and explain to both clients and upper management effectively and clearly.
Solid understanding of the Upstream Chemicals business through work experience.
Ability to interpret production data, dynamometer data, electrical measurements, and operational trends.

Responsibilities

Maintain customer field inventory.
Meet customer expectations through immediate and timely problem solving.
Coordinate with (technical) sales support to realize sales.
Undertake field service work on client’s operations.
Service pumps in the field.
Undertake lab analysis.
Undertake maintenance services on-site (preventive and remedial).
Manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering.
Support sales and business development efforts through technical presentations, product recommendations, and customer engagement.
