Job summary

Subaru of America is seeking a skilled trainer to lead and evolve localized technical training programs and Area Training Centers. You will develop technicians at all levels, drive warranty efficiency, and strengthen retailer loyalty by aligning with Subaru and industry standards.

You will manage ATC operations, coordinate with Subaru-University, and maintain facilities and assets while promoting education initiatives and stakeholder partnerships within the automotive community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or HS diploma with automotive-related work experience in lieu of degree; 6-8 years preferred.
• ASE certifications: A1–A8, L1, L3, L4 mandatory or highly preferred.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders; ability to lead and mentor.
• Ability to perform vehicle repairs following safety guidelines and SOA/industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Delivers high-quality technical training facilitation for retailer technicians and internal staff.
• Provides comprehensive assessment of students and completes evaluations.
• Educates and promotes Subaru Technical Training programs and initiatives to retailers and field.
• Plans and manages ATC operations, calendars, STTR, and Dispatch scores.
• Enforces ATC policies to ensure consistent retailer experience and compliance.
• Identifies ATC opportunities and coordinates with Subaru-University and field needs.
• Maintains ATC facilities and assets to meet SOA standards.
• Leads ATC/Zone special projects from scope to completion.
