Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Field Service Trainer to lead the Engineer in Training (EIT) program for our Gas Services division in the United States. You will deliver advanced technical instruction on gas turbine technology, outage operations, and safety protocols to develop a pipeline of skilled field engineers.

You will also design curricula, mentor engineers, and collaborate with District Service Managers and Project Managers to align work flows, ensuring high standards and safe operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in field service engineering or technical training delivery within the energy sector, specifically turbines and generators.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, education, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Certifications such as CTT+ and ATD Instructional Design; PMP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive technical training programs for the EIT cohort, focusing on gas turbine technology, outage operations, and safety protocols.
• Conduct advanced professional development sessions for experienced field engineers to maintain high competency levels.
• Facilitate training modules for District Service Managers (DSMs) and Project Managers (PMs) to align operational workflows.
• Design and update training curricula and instructional materials to Siemens Energy standards and safety guidelines.
• Assess trainee performance and provide coaching and mentorship to support career progression.
