Job summary

Carlton Industrial Solutions is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to keep customers’ industrial weighing equipment running safely and accurately. You’ll perform maintenance, calibration, repair, and installation in the field, troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical issues, and document results for customers across CIS territories.

You’ll travel up to 25% and may participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Must-have: mechanical aptitude and basic electrical understanding.
• Must-have: strong problem-solving and the ability to work independently in the field.
• Must-have: valid driver’s license and ability to meet DOT requirements.
• Good communication and documentation skills; customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, calibration, repair, and installation on industrial weighing equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Complete service calls safely and efficiently; document work, time, and results.
• Identify and address safety risks on job sites and maintain tools and equipment.
• Travel up to 25% across CIS territories; participate in on-call rotation and overtime as needed.

You'll be the person customers count on when something needs fixing, calibrating, or installing—and the one who helps them avoid costly downtime.This is more than a repair job.
