Job summary

WASH is seeking a Service Technician to perform field service and repair of washers and dryers at customer locations across the assigned region in the United States. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently in the field, ensuring customer equipment runs smoothly.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of mechanical experience, electrical knowledge, and good English communication.

Qualifications

• Good driving record.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Must possess effective English communication skills (oral and written).
• Bilingual communication (English/Spanish) desirable.
• At least 2 years of mechanical experience and electrical knowledge or training.

Responsibilities

• Performs field service to test and repair malfunctioning washers and dryers.
• Uses test equipment to determine condition of machines.
• Examines machines during operating cycles to detect issues.
• Disassembles machines and inspects mechanical and electrical parts.
• Replaces worn or defective parts and components.
• Reassembles appliances, adjusts pulleys, and lubricates moving parts.
• Advises dispatch on equipment needing replacement.
• Drives company vehicle to customer sites.
• Maintains vehicle fluids and cleanliness.
• Keeps replacement parts in stock for servicing.
