Job summary

WASH is seeking a Service Technician to repair and service washers and dryers at customer sites across the region. You will work independently, leveraging strong mechanical skills to inspect and fix equipment while maintaining high customer care standards.

Responsibilities include disassembling and reassembling machines, replacing worn parts, and driving a company vehicle to locations. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required, with bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Good driving record and valid license.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Effective English communication; bilingual EN/ES desirable.
• At least 2 years of mechanical and/or electrical experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and move 200+ pounds with a dolly.
• Prior washer/dryer repair experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Service washers and dryers at apartments, laundromats, hotels, athletic facilities, etc.
• Disassemble machines and examine mechanical and electrical parts
• Reassemble appliances, adjusts pulleys, and lubricate moving parts
• Replace worn or defective parts and adjusts motors
• Clean and wash parts
• Advise dispatch department of equipment that should be replaced with new equipment
• Drive a company vehicle to and from work locations
