Job summary

WASH is seeking a Service Technician to perform on-site mechanical repairs of washers and dryers at customer locations within the assigned region. You will diagnose issues, replace worn parts, and ensure equipment operates reliably.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of mechanical experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a good driving record. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; occasional lifting is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience and electrical knowledge or training.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Good driving record and ability to operate company vehicle safely.
• Able to communicate effectively in English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service to test and repair washers/dryers at customer locations.
• Use test equipment to diagnose machine conditions and failures.
• Inspect for vibration, overheating, leaks, loose parts; replace worn components.
• Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble machines; adjust motors and pulleys.
• Maintain stocks of replacement parts and vehicle fluids; keep vehicle clean.
