Job summary

Vertiv Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform scheduled and remedial service on Small to Medium UPS, Power Distribution Units and Battery systems. The role emphasizes safety, customer rapport, and on-site problem resolution in the Edge market segment.

The position requires teamwork, strong communication, and the ability to work under supervision or independently after training. A driver’s license is expected with travel and shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• High School or Vocational School Diploma.
• A preferred ASEET or AMEET, or progress towards these certifications.
• 2-4 years military or related technical field experience.
• 0-2 years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned and per policies.
• Provide on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Communicate with Technical Support on issues.
• Adhere to safety and field change guidelines.
• Maintain reports, time cards and service logs.
