Job summary

The Customer Engineer at Vertiv Corporation is responsible for installation and commissioning of UPS, Power Distribution Units and related power products, including battery systems (2-120KVA). The role emphasizes building strong customer rapport and collaboration with customers, sales reps, and teammates.

Responsibilities include on-site service, remote support, adherence to safety guidelines, and timely completion of administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• ASEET/AMEET or progress towards preferred.
• 4+ years military experience in a technical field.
• 2+ years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned and per company policies and procedures.
• Capable of working under direct supervision or independently based on training completion.
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Communicate with Technical Support on technical or procedural issues.
• Implement Field Change Notices per published guidelines.
• Keep current on Safety Bulletins, Field Change Notices, and Service Tips.
