Job summary

Amada America, Inc. is seeking a field service installer in San Antonio, TX to complete all installation aspects and ensure customer satisfaction. You will travel regularly, document service reports weekly, and coordinate with departments to resolve issues.

Qualifications

  • Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to use hand tools, Volt/Ohm meter, and oscilloscope.
  • Strong computer skills and Windows OS knowledge.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proven ability to work with customers and coworkers.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Complete all aspects of the installation.
  • Follow up on any aspects outside of the normal scope of work with the proper departments to obtain customer satisfaction.
  • Complete status (service) reports, expense reports every week, and technical documentation as needed.
  • Maintain excellent customer relations and follow through on customer issues.
  • Maintain excellent coworker and manager relations.
  • Complete other required internal paperwork (Urgent Parts Requests, Parts Removal Requests, Purchase Requisitions, etc.).
  • Regular travel.
  • Provide feedback to the manager on any machine and customer issues that require further action.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to an Injury-Free Environment by complying with all aspects of the corporate environmental, health and safety program.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Complete all aspects of the installation:
