Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a field service technician to install, maintain and troubleshoot turbomachinery and package systems at customer sites, using test equipment, schematics and guidance from experienced colleagues to diagnose and repair issues.

This remote posting requires residing in Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania or West Virginia to support the local customer base, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k) and more.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience required; field service experience preferred.
• DOT drug screen and physical fitness evaluation required.
• Clean driving record and ability to obtain credentials for travel.

Responsabilités

• Use test equipment and schematics to diagnose malfunctions and locate problems under supervision.
• Under supervision use hand tools to analyze, repair or replace faulty parts and calibrate equipment.
• Observe common causes of trouble and perform routine installations and adjustments within procedures.
