Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking a Field Service Representative to install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment at customer locations. Remote role but candidates must reside in Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania or West Virginia to support local customers.

The position involves diagnosing with test equipment, referencing schematics, repairing parts, and performing routine installations under supervision. Travel and OT opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service or related maintenance.
• Able to read schematics and use test equipment.
• Clean driving record and ability to obtain Transportation Worker's Identification Credential (TWIC).

Responsibilities

• Use a variety of test equipment to diagnose and identify malfunctions at the customer site.
• Under supervision use hand tools, gauges and instruments to analyze, repair or replace faulty parts.
• Observe and check for common causes of trouble; perform routine installations and adjustments.
• Travel to customer sites and support on turbomachinery and package systems.
