Job summary

EMD Electronics is immediately hiring for Field Service Technicians! This role involves installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of GasGuard, ChemGuard, and Poly Flow delivery systems at customer sites across the U.S.

and potentially international locations. Ideal candidates have 1+ years in semiconductor/industrial environments, strong mechanical and electrical skills, and a willingness to travel up to 85%.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years' experience as a Megasys Technician Level III or in Industrial / Semiconductor environments.
• 1+ years' experience with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Valid US Passport and a valid Driver’s License with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, troubleshoot and repair GasGuard, ChemGuard, and Poly Flow delivery systems and related support equipment.
• Perform pre-task planning and equipment condition checks before starting work.
• Escalate issues when needed and complete field documentation for invoicing.
• Provide solutions on equipment configuration, maintenance and operation to customers.
• Travel to customer sites across the U.S. and possibly international locations.
