Job summary

GEA Group is looking for a Field Service Technician in the United States. You will assist with the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of liquid processing and food projects. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of relevant experience, particularly with Rockwell PLC and HMI systems.

This role requires travel up to 75% and a valid driver's license. You'll also provide support to customers, write detailed reports, and adhere to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a similar position.
• Liquid Processing, UHT, and aseptic experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot software, electrical, and mechanical problems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation and commissioning of projects.
• Support customers with troubleshooting mechanical and process issues.
• Write clear service tickets and reports within deadlines.

Skills

Rockwell PLC experience

HMI experience

Liquid Processing experience

Ability to read instruction manuals and P&IDs

Skilled with hand and power tools

Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

Fluent in English

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
