Hitachi Energy USA Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform hands-on mechanical work at electrical substations and customer sites nationwide.

You will inspect, service, and adjust equipment, support transformer testing, and operate oil-handling equipment under site leadership with extensive travel (up to 85%). The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license, with CDL as a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel up to 85%.
• CDL is a plus and welding experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform hands-on mechanical work in electrical substations and at customer sites.
• Inspect equipment, structures, and materials to identify potential problems, defects, or causes of issues.
• Service, repair, and adjust equipment that operates primarily through mechanical principles.
• Operate and maintain oil-handling equipment and vacuum oil processors under site leadership.
