What will you be doing?
As a Field Service Technician, you will travel throughout the country to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Action Target equipment and range systems. You will work directly with law enforcement, military, and commercial range customers and will often be the face of Action Target while on site.
This is a hands‑on, highly independent position. You will encounter a wide variety of equipment and problems, so you need to be able to assess unfamiliar issues, determine what needs to be done, and complete the work safely and efficiently with limited supervision.
Extensive travel is a core part of the position. You should expect to leave home Monday and typically return Friday, with occasional assignments extending into Saturday. Travel will be by company van or airplane, and you may work at multiple customer facilities during the same week. This role will need to be based in the state of Texas, within one hour of a major airport.

We are looking for someone with broad technical ability, strong troubleshooting skills, and the discipline to work independently. You should enjoy solving difficult problems, be comfortable with physically demanding work and extensive travel, and understand that taking care of the customer is just as important as repairing the equipment.
