Job summary

Sandvik Mining is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist, Denver, CO or Tucson, AZ. This hybrid role requires 3 days in office and offers a competitive compensation package.

You will partner with hiring managers to attract Field Service Technicians and skilled technical professionals, manage full-cycle recruitment, and build talent pipelines across regions to support customer service excellence and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of high-volume (10-30 requisitions at a time) full life cycle recruiting experience.
• 2+ years’ experience with college recruitment preferred.
• Workday experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop targeted recruiting strategies to attract Field Service Technicians across geographic regions.
• Build and maintain robust pipelines of qualified candidates with experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, repair, and customer-facing technical support.
• Source talent through trade schools, technical colleges, military transition programs, industry associations, referrals, and specialized recruiting platforms.
• Screen candidates to assess technical aptitude, field service experience, travel requirements, safety awareness, customer service skills, and cultural fit.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, technician competencies, certifications, and regional staffing demands.
• Coordinate and facilitate skills assessments, interviews, and hiring decisions to ensure selection of high-performing field service talent.
• Monitor labor market trends, compensation benchmarks, and technician availability to support effective recruiting strategies.
• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation, pre-employment requirements, and onboarding coordination.
• Support workforce planning initiatives to ensure adequate technician staffing levels that meet customer service commitments and operational objectives.
• Maintain candidate relationships and talent communities to support current and future field service hiring needs.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
