Job summary

Carolina Handling is seeking Field Technicians to service and repair material handling equipment at customer sites. You’ll diagnose electro‑mechanical issues, install and repair equipment, and maintain strong customer relations.

The role emphasizes safety, professionalism, and effective communication to uphold our service standards. This position involves driving to client locations, performing preventative maintenance, and rapidly addressing issues to minimize downtime while supporting growth

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• 1-3 years in maintenance, repair, or installation is preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting electro-mechanical problems and performing installations and repairs.
• Interact with customers to understand concerns and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain professionalism and represent the company positively on site.
• Execute repairs efficiently and address issues promptly.
• Perform scheduled maintenance as per policies and procedures.
• Keep track of parts and supplies in the service van.
• Ensure the service van is maintained and stocked with necessary equipment.
• Adhere to safety guidelines at customer sites and in the shop.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support operations.
