Job summary

Cornerstone Detention Products is seeking a Service Technician to troubleshoot, repair, service, and install security and detention equipment on customer sites. This hands-on role requires reading and following instructions, safety compliance, and the ability to work independently or with a team to meet schedules and quality standards.

Responsibilities include installing detention and low-voltage systems, reading and following instructions, maintaining job-site safety, and traveling to customer

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass criminal background checks.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• 1+ year of experience installing low-voltage communication, security, or detention systems.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow technical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and install security electronics and networking equipment
• Install detention and low-voltage communication systems
• Read and follow written and verbal instructions
• Maintain safe and organized job sites
• Follow OSHA and customer safety requirements
• Safeguard company tools, equipment, and confidential client information
• Work effectively with team members, customers, and supervisors
• Report unsafe conditions and jobsite concerns immediately
• Complete assigned work with minimal supervision
• Travel between customer locations and project sites as required
