Job summary

NCR Voyix in the Boston area is seeking a Field Service Technician I. You will install, maintain, and service electromechanical self-checkout systems for major retail clients. Travel within assigned territory and respond to customer needs with speed and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Local candidate for the specified geographic area.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record per NCR fleet requirements.
• PC skills and basic electronics with hardware/OS familiarity.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
• Prolonged travel with driving several hours daily.
• Rotating and weekend shifts.
• Flexible shifts with morning/afternoon/evening starts and some holidays.
• Lifting up to 75 lbs. without assistance and up to 150 lbs. with assistance.
• Willing to operate small scissor lifts in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly.
• Service electromechanical equipment like self-checkout systems within an assigned territory.
• Perform maintenance, repair, PM work, and system overhauls.
