Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO in Denver seeks a field service technician to calibrate and perform preventive maintenance on Retail Weighing Equipment, with mentorship and hands-on training.

You will install and repair equipment alongside experienced team members, maintain service records on a company laptop, and respond to customer needs while ensuring safety and quality standards.

On-call rotation is required; you will build relationships with customers and internal teams to support continued operations.

Qualifications

• Calibrate and perform preventative maintenance on Retail Weighing Equipment according to METTLER TOLEDO procedures.
• Maintain data integrity in the service database and complete required paperwork daily.
• Assist with installations and repairs under supervision with experienced team members.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality policies and procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotation to support the customer base.

Responsibilities

• Perform PC networking and software configuration.
• Calibrations and PM on Retail Weighing Equipment as per procedures.
• Update and maintain service database records accurately.
• Assist Scheduling Analyst and Service Support Team as needed.
• Resolve first-line customer concerns and support invoicing issues when applicable.

Job description

You'll be responsible for performing calibration and preventative maintenance (PM) on weighing and wrapping equipment within the Retail Business, with the support of mentors and technical resources. You'll also assist on installations and repairs alongside experienced team members - a great opportunity to grow your skills on the path to independent work.

• Perform PC networking & software configuration
• Performs calibrations and preventative maintenance duties on our Retail Weighing Equipment, according to METTLER TOLEDO procedures and customer requirements.
• Actively updates and ensures data integrity of the service database.
• Assists and cooperates with Scheduling Analyst and Service Support Team as necessary.
• Resolves first-line customer concerns and helps resolve invoicing issues when applicable.
• Ensures compliance with all company and customer safety and quality policies and procedures.
• Accurately completes and submits all required paperwork on a daily basis as required via company issued Laptop PC in a professional manner
• Maintains a close professional relationship with external/internal customers, sales, technicians and leaders.
• Must comply with the Company Fleet policy.
• On-call rotation is required to support Mettler Toledo customer base.
• All other duties as assigned.
