Job summary

WEISS North America, Inc in Willoughby, OH is seeking a Service Technician to perform in-house repairs, field service visits, and provide troubleshooting support by phone and email.

This full-time role offers a pay range of $25-$32 per hour, bi-weekly pay, medical/dental/vision and life insurance after a short waiting period, 401(k) eligibility after 60 days, generous PTO, and up to 20% travel.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Experience: 2-3 years in service technician or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and customer support during field visits
• Install new products, and test them to ensure they are working correctly
• Educate the customer on how to use and maintain their equipment
• Explain issues with equipment and repairs to customer
• Tie workflow to schedule
• Manage all on-site repairs and maintenance
• Diagnose errors or problems and determine proper solutions
• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations
• Produce timely and detailed service reports
• Cooperate with other departments and share information across the organization
• Build and maintain relationships with customers
• Assist in maintaining the highest quality of product provided by WEISS NA
• Perform other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as directed
