Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Field Service Technician – 100% to perform major component replacements and repairs across the fleet, ensuring safe operations per Invenergy policies. You will train site personnel and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults across multiple platforms.

Expect 4-week travel intervals away from home with a week off, and must reside in one of the allowed states (NE, NM, KS, OK, CO, TX). Strong safety mindset and willingness to work outdoors are essential.

Qualifications

• One year of technical experience (mechanical, electrical, etc.) or technical education.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather and climb ladders.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work at heights above 80 meters (250 feet).
• Weight must not exceed 120 kg (265 lbs) excluding gear.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively represent Invenergy and the Field Service Group with internal and external parties.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults on multiple equipment platforms.
• Train site personnel in safety, preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and ops support system.
• Lead teams to perform major component replacements and repairs on multiple equipment platforms.
• Troubleshoot complicated electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems.
• Understand electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic functions of multiple equipment platforms.
• Perform equipment and site inspections and file associated reports.
• Complete daily and monthly reporting requirements.
• Write and revise procedures for component replacements.
• Assure all activities are performed safely per Invenergy policies.
• Rotational travel in 4-week intervals away from home with a week off.
