Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform major component replacements and repairs across the fleet. The role requires traveling in 4-week blocks with a week at home, maintaining safety and adherence to Invenergy policies.

You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, train site personnel, and lead teams on various equipment platforms while ensuring compliance and thorough reporting.

Qualifications

• 1 year technical experience (mechanical, electrical, etc.) or technical education.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Able to work outdoors in inclement weather; climb ladders; move up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Work at heights greater than 80 meters (250 feet).
• Weight must not exceed 120 kg (265 lbs) excluding gear.
• Eligible to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively represent Invenergy and the Field Service Group to internal and external parties.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults across multiple equipment platforms.
• Train site personnel in safety, preventive and reactive maintenance, and Ops Support System.
• Lead teams to perform major component replacements and repairs on multiple equipment platforms.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems.
• Understand electrical and hydraulic functions of multiple equipment platforms.
• Perform equipment and site inspections and compile reports.
• Complete daily and monthly reporting requirements.
• Write and revise procedures for component replacements.
• Ensure all activities comply with Invenergy policies and procedures.
• Rotational travel every 4 weeks away from home with a 1-week break.
