Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Field Service Technician – 100% to perform and train on major component replacements and repairs across the Invenergy fleet. The role requires safety‑driven work outdoors, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and travel in 4‑week intervals away from home.

You will join a team serving multiple states, with base pay in a broad hourly range and a path to bonus eligibility. This is a safety‑sensitive role supported by comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year technical experience (mechanical, electrical, etc.)
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Outdoor work in inclement weather; climb ladders; move up to 100 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Work at heights greater than 250 feet
• Weight must not exceed 265 lbs excluding gear
• Eligible to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively represent Invenergy with internal and external parties
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults across equipment platforms
• Train site personnel in safety, maintenance, and ops support systems
• Lead teams for major component replacements and repairs
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems
• Understand electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic functions of equipment platforms
• Perform site inspections and compile reports; complete daily and monthly reporting
• Write and revise component-replacement procedures and documents
• Ensure activities are performed safely per Invenergy policies
• Travel in 4-week rotation intervals away from home
