Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform major component replacements and repairs across the Invenergy fleet. The position requires travel in 4-week intervals with a week at home, and the candidate will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults across multiple platforms.

The role demands outdoor work in varied weather, ladder use, and lifting heavy components. A valid US driver’s license and the ability to work in the US without sponsorship are essential.

Qualifications

• One year of technical experience or equivalent education in mechanical/electrical areas.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Outdoor work in various weather conditions including at height.
• Ability to lift/move heavy components (up to 100 lbs and more depending on task).
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Capable of working at heights above 250 feet.
• Eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Represent Invenergy and Field Service Group with internal and external parties.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults across equipment platforms.
• Train site personnel in Operations activities including Safety and Preventative Maintenance.
• Lead teams to perform major component replacements and repairs.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems.
• Understand electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic functions of equipment platforms.
• Perform equipment and site inspections and compile reports.
• Complete daily and monthly reporting requirements.
• Write and revise procedures for component replacements.
• Ensure all activities follow Invenergy policies and procedures.
• Rotational travel in 4-week intervals away from home with weekly rest periods.
