Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform and train on major component replacements across the Invenergy fleet. You will travel 4 weeks out of 4 with a week home, performing safety-conscious maintenance and repairs at multiple sites.

The role requires at least 1 year of technical experience, a high school diploma, the ability to lift up to 45 kg, and a valid driver’s license. You must be eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of technical experience or related technical education.
• Must work outdoors in inclement weather and climb ladders.
• Ability to move and manipulate up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Work at heights greater than 80 meters (250 feet).
• US work eligibility without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively represent Invenergy and the Field Service Group to internal and external parties.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in multiple equipment platforms.
• Train site personnel in operations activities including safety, maintenance, and Ops systems.
• Lead teams to perform major component replacements and repairs across equipment platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems.
• Understand electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic functions of multiple platforms.
• Perform equipment and site inspections and compile reports.
• Complete daily and monthly reporting requirements.
• Write and revise procedures for component replacements.
• Ensure all activities are performed safely per Invenergy policies.
• Rotational travel in 4-week intervals away from home.
