Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform major component replacements and repairs across the Invenergy fleet. The role involves 4-week travel intervals away from home with a week at home, requiring safe operation and adherence to Invenergy policies.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of technical experience or related education, a high school diploma, and the ability to work outdoors in varied weather. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• One year of technical experience (mechanical, electrical, etc.) and/or related technical education.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather.
• Ability to lift/move up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Work at heights above 80 meters (250 feet).
• Weight must not exceed 120 kg (265 lbs) excluding gear.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Invenergy Field Service Group to represent the company to internal and external parties.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults on multiple equipment platforms.
• Train site personnel in safety, preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance, and operations support.
• Lead teams in major component replacements and repairs across equipment platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues.
• Understand functions of multiple equipment platforms and perform inspections and reports.
• Complete daily and monthly reporting requirements and document procedures.
