Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform major component replacements and repairs across the Invenergy fleet. The role requires travel away from home for 4-week intervals and a strong emphasis on safety and procedures.

The candidate will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, train site personnel, and collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure compliant operations and reporting. A valid driver’s license and ability to work outdoors are essential.

Qualifications

• One (1) year technical experience (mechanical, electrical, etc.).
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather, climb ladders without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively represent Invenergy and the Field Service Group to internal and external parties.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults across multiple equipment platforms.
• Train site personnel in Operations activities including Safety, Preventative Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance, and Ops Support System.
• Lead teams to perform major component replacements and repairs on multiple equipment platforms and manufacturers.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems.
