Job summary

Invenergy, a leading North American energy company, seeks a Field Service Technician – 100% travel, to perform and train on major component replacements across the Invenergy fleet. Travel away from home is 4 weeks with a 1-week break.

The role requires mechanical or electrical technical experience, a high school diploma, and ability to work outdoors in various weather, climb ladders, and lift up to 100 lbs. Must be US-eligible to work.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of technical experience in mechanical or electrical trades.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather and climb ladders.
• Ability to lift/move up to 100 lb (45 kg).
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to work at heights over 80 meters (250 feet).
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Represent Invenergy with internal and external teams.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults across equipment platforms.
• Train site personnel in safety, maintenance, and operations.
• Lead teams for major component replacements and repairs.
• Perform site inspections and compile reports; complete daily/monthly reporting.
• Write and revise procedures for component replacements; ensure safety compliance.
