Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Field Service Technician – 100% to perform major component replacements and repairs across the Invenergy fleet. You will travel on a 4-week interval schedule and return home weekly for time off, supporting operations with safety-first practices.

The role requires a year of technical experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work outdoors, on heights, and with heavy equipment. Located in the midwest/west region, travel is a core part of the position.

Qualifications

• One year of technical experience (mechanical, electrical, etc.).
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must work outdoors in inclement weather and climb ladders.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Ability to work at heights above 80 meters (250 feet).
• Weight limit of 120 kg (265 lbs) excluding gear.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively represent Invenergy with internal and external parties.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults across equipment platforms.
• Train site personnel in safety and maintenance best practices.
• Lead teams for major component replacements and repairs across platforms.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems.
• Understand functions of multiple equipment platforms and inspect sites.
• Prepare reports and complete daily/monthly documentation.
• Write and revise replacement procedures in a safe, compliant manner.
