Job summary

Invenergy, a leading North American energy company, seeks a Field Service Technician – 100%. You will perform and train on major component replacements across our fleet, ensuring safe operations in line with Invenergy policies.

Must reside in one of the listed states and be willing to travel in 4-week increments with a week off. Competitive hourly pay and strong benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• 1 year of technical experience (mechanical, electrical, etc.) or technical education.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Able to work outdoors in inclement weather, climb ladders, and move up to 100 lbs (45 kg).
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Work at heights greater than 80 meters (250 feet).
• Weight must not exceed 265 lbs (120 kg) excluding gear.
• Eligible to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Represent Invenergy to internal and external parties.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults on multiple equipment platforms.
• Train site personnel in safety, maintenance, and ops support systems.
• Lead teams to perform major component replacements and repairs on multiple platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems.
• Understand electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic functions of equipment platforms.
• Perform equipment and site inspections and compile reports.
• Complete daily and monthly reporting requirements.
• Write and revise procedures for component replacements.
• Ensure activities align with Invenergy policies and procedures.
• Rotational travel every 4 weeks away from home with a week off.
