Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform major component replacements and repairs across our fleet, with safety first and adherence to Invenergy policies. The role requires travel away from home for 4 weeks at a time, returning for a week off.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on multiple platforms, train site personnel, write procedures, and complete daily reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with renewable energy systems is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Must be able to use software systems to troubleshoot issues.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work with limited supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions and at heights.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively represent Invenergy and the Field Service Group to internal and external parties.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults across equipment platforms.
• Train site personnel in safety, maintenance, and operations.
• Lead teams for major component replacements and repairs.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems.
• Understand and operate equipment platforms and related systems.
• Perform site inspections and compile reports.
• Complete daily and monthly reporting requirements.
• Write and revise procedures for component replacements.
• Ensure activities align with Invenergy safety policies.
