Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform and train on major component replacements across the Invenergy fleet. The role requires travel away from home for 4-week intervals with a week back home, and adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, training site staff, leading replacement projects, and generating reports. A high school diploma and technical experience are required, along with the ability to work outdoors and lift heavy loads.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of technical experience or related education in renewable energy.
• Experience across multiple platforms preferred.
• Proficiency with software systems to troubleshoot issues.
• Ability to work safely with limited supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Works outdoors in inclement weather; able to climb ladders.
• Able to lift/move up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Represent Invenergy with internal and external parties.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults across platforms.
• Train site personnel on safety, maintenance, and operations.
• Lead teams for major component replacements and repairs.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems.
• Understand platform functions and perform inspections and reports.
• Complete daily and monthly reporting.
• Write/revise procedures for component replacements.
• Ensure activities align with Invenergy safety policies.
• Rotational travel with four weeks away from home and weekly time off.
