Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform major component replacements and repairs across the fleet. You will train site personnel, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, and travel in 4-week intervals with one week off.

The role emphasizes safety, reporting, and adherence to Invenergy procedures. Required are 2 years of renewable energy tech experience, ability to work outdoors, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of technical experience in renewable energy.
• Experience on multiple equipment platforms preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot using software systems.
• Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with field service group and customers.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults across equipment.
• Train site personnel on safety, maintenance, and ops support.
• Lead teams in major component replacements and repairs.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues.
• Understand functions of multiple platforms and perform inspections.
• Complete daily and monthly reports and write procedures.
• Maintain safety compliance per Invenergy policies.
