Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform and train on major component replacements and repair services across the Invenergy fleet. You will ensure all operations are safe and align with Invenergy policies. Expect to travel away from home for 4-week intervals with a week at home.

The role requires hands-on technical ability, sharp problem solving across electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, and strong communication skills to train site personnel and document activities.

Qualifications

• Two years technical experience and/or technical education related to renewable energy systems.
• Experience in multiple platforms strongly preferred.
• Ability to use software systems to troubleshoot issues.
• Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather and at heights.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively represent Invenergy and the Field Service Group to internal and external parties.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in multiple equipment platforms.
• Train site personnel in Operations activities including Safety, Preventative Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance, and Ops Support System.
• Lead teams to perform major component replacements and repairs on multiple equipment platforms and component manufacturers.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems.
• Perform equipment and site inspections and compile reports.
• Complete daily and monthly reporting requirements.
• Write and revise procedures on how to perform component replacements.
