Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform major component replacements and repairs across our fleet. Travel is required, with 4 weeks on site followed by a week at home, ensuring safe maintenance in line with Invenergy policies.

You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, train site personnel on safety and operations, and document inspections and procedures. A strong technical background in renewable energy and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years technical experience or technical education related to renewable energy systems.
• Experience across multiple platforms preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot using software systems.
• Strong safety mindset with limited supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather; climb ladders; lift up to 100 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be 21+ and eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively represent Invenergy with internal and external parties.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in multiple equipment platforms.
• Train site personnel on safety, preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance, and ops support.
• Lead teams to perform major component replacements and repairs on equipment platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems.
• Understand electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic functions of equipment platforms.
• Perform equipment and site inspections and compile reports.
• Complete daily and monthly reporting requirements.
• Write and revise procedures and documents on how to perform component replacements.
• Ensure all activities are performed safely following Invenergy policies.
• Rotational travel in 4-week intervals away from home with a week off.
