Job summary

Invenergy, North America’s largest privately held developer, owner, and operator of power infrastructure, seeks a Field Service Technician - 100%. You will perform major component replacements and repairs across the Invenergy fleet, traveling in 4-week intervals with a week at home.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Two years technical experience and/or technical education related to renewable energy systems.
• Experience across multiple platforms preferred.
• Ability to use software systems to troubleshoot issues.
• Work safely with limited supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather, climb ladders, and lift up to 100 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively represent Invenergy and the Field Service Group to internal and external parties.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults across equipment platforms.
• Train site personnel in safety, preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and operations support systems.
• Lead teams to perform major component replacements and repairs.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems.
• Understand electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic functions of equipment platforms.
• Perform site inspections and compile reports.
• Complete daily and monthly reporting requirements.
• Write and revise procedures for component replacements.
• Ensure activities meet Invenergy safety policies.
