Wabtec is hiring for a Field Service Technician to support customers with Nordco equipment. You will troubleshoot, train on new and existing machines, and ensure proper operation at customer sites.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 5+ years as an industrial/mobile heavy equipment mechanic.
• Associates degree a plus.
• PLC and CANBus troubleshooting training preferred.
• Able to read schematics for pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and train customers on Nordco equipment at the customer site.
• Put new machines into service including training and demonstrations.
• Repair existing equipment, perform service and maintenance at customer sites.
• Recommend repair parts and product improvements to customers.
• Prepare field reports and travel expense records weekly.
