Job summary

NOV is seeking Field Service Technicians to travel around Houston, TX, and provide hands-on service for installation, troubleshooting, and repair of pumps, mixers, and related equipment in industrial settings.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and capable of reading mechanical drawings. The role involves frequent travel, safety focus, and opportunities for growth within the field service team.

Qualifications

5+ years of mechanical installation/service experience
Ability to read mechanical plans, drawings and site layouts
Knowledge of industrial equipment, pumps, mixers, VFDs, and PLCs
Experience with installation, alignment and commissioning of industrial equipment
Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
Willingness to travel frequently (up to 75%) and work in various field conditions
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to pass background, drug test, and health screenings
Commitment to safety and quality

Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise and hands-on service for industrial rotating equipment.
Travel frequently to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, and repair pumps, mixers, and related equipment.
Support customers and sales teams with service and quality workmanship.
