Job summary

Parkworks Mechanical Systems is seeking a Field Service Technician to maintain and repair semi-automated and fully automated parking systems. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform system testing, and provide on-site support to property managers.

You will work independently, communicate clearly with clients, manage parts and service reports, and participate in an on-call rotation to ensure uptime and safety across sites.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience servicing mechanical and/or electrical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical wiring diagrams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible availability, including on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Develop a working understanding of semi- and fully automated parking systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components.
• Conduct system testing to verify performance and safety.
• Diagnose issues and implement repair solutions.
• Order and track parts for repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service calls
• Respond to on-call service requests from users and property management
• Educate clients on proper system use and maintenance practices
• Explain equipment issues and repair solutions to customers
• Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate documentation
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
