Job summary

SKIDATA USA, based near Detroit, seeks a Field Service Technician to provide on-site and phone support for parking access systems at sites in and around Detroit, including DTW airport. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot software/hardware, and coordinate with higher level support.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, experience with Windows Server/SQL, network basics, and proficiency with ERP SNOW. Willingness to travel occasionally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and two years of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Proficiency with Windows Server/SQL and network firewall configurations.

Responsibilities

• Perform field repairs on parking access and building access systems, software and hardware.
• Troubleshoot problems on devices/equipment down to board level; low voltage work.
• Configure and troubleshoot SKIDATA network LAN; identify network devices.
• Interact with customers and coordinate with upper-level support to meet expectations.
• Maintain inventory and process WO transactions in ERP system; perform monthly PM.
