Job summary

FS-Elliott is expanding our Field Service team in Pittsburgh. We are seeking a Service Technician to install, start-up, commission, and maintain our centrifugal compressor packages on-site, delivering hands-on service to customers.

You will troubleshoot, perform repairs, provide technical support and training, and document work orders. A strong safety mindset and ability to travel up to 75% are required, with flexibility for after-hours work when needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent, or 3–5 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong problem-solving and process analysis skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%) and work outside standard hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site start-up assistance, overhauls/repairs, maintenance and troubleshooting. Obtains first-hand information when troubles exist. Responsible for implementing corrective steps.
• Provides professional troubleshooting and technical support. Executes assignments with guidance from experienced service persons.
• Promotes and practices proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal protective equipment at all times.
• Completes work order forms and other job-related paperwork on a daily basis.
• Reports equipment troubles. Enters such feedback into company databases.
• Present training programs to channel partners and customers.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
