Job summary

FS-Elliott is expanding our Field Service team in Pittsburgh. The Service Technician will perform on-site installation, start-up, commissioning, preventative maintenance, and repairs on centrifugal compressor packages.

The role includes technical support, training, and feedback to improve our machines. This hands-on position requires strong problem-solving, safety awareness, and the ability to travel up to 75% with occasional after-hours work.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent, or 3–5 years related experience and/or training.
• Strong problem-solving and process analysis skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%) and work outside of standard business hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site start-up, overhauls/repairs, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Provides professional troubleshooting and technical support.
• Promotes and practices proper safety procedures and PPE usage.
• Completes work order forms and related paperwork.
• Reports equipment troubles and logs feedback into databases.
• Presents training programs to channel partners and customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
